Competition Makeup 2008

According to this article at dance-forums.com, the current trend for competition makeup is for a more natural look. It seems like bright red lipsticks, false eyelashes, and using lots of colors on the face is becoming “out.” Last year, I went to a MAC counter at a local department store and ask the lady there to give me a “dramatic look.” Hmmmm… that won’t work any more. I’d better practice by myself.
As for hair, “hair down,” “pony tail,” or “high bun” are becoming trendy. I may try the high bun since my hair is finally growing long enough to do a high bun. I don’t think I will go for a pony tail or hair down. I really don’t want to whip around my partner (teacher) with my pony tail.
