According to this post over at Swan Lake Samba Girl blog, Slavik Kryklyvyy was in London for the International Championships in early October. He was actually at the competition but didn’t compete and just watched it. Tonya’s friend who was there heard the rumor that he hadn’t felt ready for the competition. I really really hope that is not the case.

Now there is a series of show dances by Slavik and Hanna taped in Greece is on Youtube now. Some comments for the videos also point out that the new partnership is still needing some fine-tuning. Their next appearance on this side of the pond is supposed to be in New York in December 2008. As for competitions, they are set to compete in the U.K. Open in next January. Just like Tonya, I miss seeing Slavik’s dancing.
