ABC announced that there will be a pro dancer competition to choose one professional who can be on next seasons Dancing with the Stars. That’s interesting. There are six pros who will be competing, and only one of them is currently competing. It’s kind of funny that they put the section for nationality there. Three are Americans and the other three are Russians.

You may be skeptical about ABC’s intentions because it all comes down to ratings. But I’ll be glad to bite. Any more air time of ballroom dancing, especially those by pros, will help the popularity of ballroom dancing.
