Slavik and Anna’s First Competition
filed in Professional Latin on Sep.13, 2009
Slavik Kryklyvyy and Anna Melnikova competed for the first time as a professional couple last night in Orland, Florida. The event was U.S.D.C. (United States Dance Championship). This partnership seems to be progressing well considering how long it took for Slavik and Hanna, Slavik’s former partner, to enter their first competition. As you know, Anna was dancing with Stefano di Filippo until late May. Slavik and Anna have done the 2009 World Superstars Dance Festival (held in Japan) already, and they are either to compete or to do show dances in South Africa later this month. Their competition schedule seems to include a competition in Russia (late October) and the International in the U.K.
The results for pro Latin from USDC are:
1 Ricarrdo Cocchi and Yuliya Zagoruychenko
2 Slavik Kryklyvyy and Anna Meinikova
3 Justinas Duknauskas and Ekaterina Lapaeva
4 Emmanuele Soldi and Elisa Nasato
5 Andre and Natalie Paramonov
6 Delyan Terziev and Boriana Deltcheva
Their video clips have already been posted on Youtube and ballroomtube.net.
