World Superstars Dance Festival

World Superstars Dance Festival 2009 DVD is already out at Dancevision. This year’s lineup is:

  • Michael Malitowski & Joanne Leunis (Poland)
  • Riccardo Cocchi & Yulia Zagoruychenko (USA)
  • Franco Formica & Oxana Lebedew (Germany)
  • Sergey Surkov & Melia (Poland)
  • Slavik Kryklyvyy & Anna Melnikova (Russia)
  • Maxim Kozhevnikov & Beata (USA)

We have Slavik Kryklyvvy & Anna Melnikova instead of Bryan Watson and Carmen this year. The festival was held sometime in August in Tokyo, I think. At the time of taping/performance, Slavik and Anna had not competed anywhere in the world as Anna announced her split from Stefano Di Filippo in late May in Blackpool.

I’m glad that the festival organizer chose Slavik and Anna and they accepted it because some of their showdance is just incredible. My favorite is Gypsy Dance, which almost gave me goosebumps.

As most of the dances are already available on youtube, I’ve already watched most of them and I can tell you this DVD is a must-have, especially if you are a fan of Slavik. I am going to buy the DVD because I want to watch the show in high quality.
