Hi, my name is Kumi (a.k.a. Juno). I built this site as my educational project so I can organize my knowledge and share it with other dance enthusiasts. 

I started to take ballroom dancing lessons for fun.  Then, I discovered that dancing was not just steps and patterns.  There’s much more to it.  Years of serious training is required to be able to dance at a high level where dancers can truly show the beauty and characteristics of each dance with ease.  When I watch videos of top professional couples, I always get awe-struck.  Becoming a professional dancer is not my goal as I am in my early 50s.  Rather, my goal is to become the best dancer as I can be.  I am sure I’ll become fitter and stronger physically and mentally along the way. I hope you’ll enjoy what you can find on my site.
